Episode 23: Speak Life: Rewriting Self-Talk & The Power of Genuine Compliments
In this season finale of Why Mindset Matters, I’m reflecting on the incredible power of words — the ones we speak to ourselves and the ones we share with others. For so long, I lived inside negative self-talk and limiting narratives that kept me small. But through grief, healing, and growth, I’ve learned that when we rewrite those stories and choose to speak life, we open the door to transformation. Genuine compliments, authentic connections, and simple acts of kindness have not only shaped my healing but also made me a magnet for the right people — the ones who lift me, support me, and help me grow as an individual, a business owner, and an entrepreneur.
As I step into a reset over the next couple of weeks and prepare to publish my book in the coming months, I’m embracing the unknown of the next chapter with gratitude and excitement. I want to leave you with this: your words matter more than you know. Speak life into yourself and into others — because the way you talk to yourself shapes your reality, and the way you uplift others can change theirs.
